Home Health Aide
Duties and Responsibilities: Home Health Aides make a difference of the lives of the sick, disabled, and elder people. These home health aides assist these people with personal tasks which are bathing, dressing, and cleaning their homes.The home health aides don't always work in the client's personal house, they can work in group homes, retirement communities, assisted living facilities, and etc.
Salary: $20,820
Education: Preparation classes before they get started, usually offered at community colleges, and training buy other home health aides or professionals.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I don't think i would mind being a home health aide, but it's not the career i wanted for the rest of my life. This career helps a lot of people but it's not something i thought of doing. For this career some states don't even require a high school diploma.I would much rather be a pediatrician but being a home health aide can be one of my last choices of deciding what career to choose.
