What this quote is trying to say is that you are never guaranteed to win, it is obvious that you're going to win some and lose some. You are not bound to win, but that doesn't mean you can't stay true to yourself. You should always stay true to yourself in wins and losses. You should always be there for anyone that is doing the right things, but you should get away from a person who doesn't make good decisions. If you don't stay away from the people that do wrong, then it can lead you to make bad decisions as well. For example, when you do something you shouldn't, you shouldn't lie to yourself. You should be honest and true to yourself. You should be with the people who always do their homework and make good decisions overall. For example my friends are all people who make good decisions and that's why i stick to them. If a person offers you to smoke or drink with them that's when you know that you should go your separate way and stay away from them.

- The purpose of April Fool's is to technically do jokes and prank other people. The jokes and the victims are called "April Fools."

3) What are a few theories behind April Fool's day?

- The most common theory is that April Fool's Day came from when France adopted the Gregorian Calender and moved the New Year to January 1st. Many people refused to celebrate it on the new date so others made fun of them for still celebrating New Years on April 1st. 

4) What are a few pros and cons of April Fool's Day?

A few pros is that you get to have a little fun pranking other people. Another pro is that it's the day where you don't have to be serious at all, and you can do things that you can't normally do. It always fun to have some fun once in a while. Some cons though is that people take April Fool's Day so seriously, either they make really bad pranks. or the person they're pranking on gets offended. Another con is that for making a joke a person can get in trouble for doing something that they shouldn't although they didn't mean for anything bad to happen.

5) April Fool's Day is really common in Canada, Europe, Australia, Brazil and the United States. In Italy and France, April 1st is called April Fish. This day is when they attach a paper fish to the victim's back without the victim finding out. There are so many jokes people can do to one other. This jokes can end up being really funny or they can just end up really bad. April Fool's Day is a day to have fun and to laugh with each other doing pranks, not a day to get in trouble.

What this quotes is trying to say is that intellect is at the top, which is getting good grades, being a great student and etc. But there is something higher than intellect, which is character. When you have a good character, it means than you're a good person, and you make good decisions. Having a good character is very important because it shows that you can be a good person, not only book smart but person smart. You're character depends on the decisions you make and how you act around other people. If you make good decisions and you choose the right, you will have a good character. For example, being caring to other people and helping them shows that you have a good character. Your character is who you are on the inside and not on the outside.

Duties and Responsibilities: A Health Science Librarian is a person who provides access to medical careers through pamphlets, books, journals and etc. The health sciences librarians help patients, students and health providers understand the amount of information given.

Education: Students must graduate from high school, 4 year bachelor's degree, a master's degree in library science is mandatory.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

This career is basically gathering up information and helping out the people understand the information. I honestly don't think i would like to be a Health Science Librarian for the simple fact that I'm not really interested in it. I would rather be hands in while helping a person. I would like to be there in the hospital helping out a patient, maybe even giving surgery. This sounds like a good career and the salary is not bad, but i think it would only be good for the people who are interested in researching up information through different sources.

Reflection: What this quote is trying to say is that when you work hard you will go far. If you want to go somewhere fall in life and achieve a lot of great things then you have to work hard to achieve those things. For example, Tyler Haws worked really hard at basketball. He would practice and train really hard and that led him to be a really good basketball player. So you should always work hard and you will be guaranteed that you will achieve so many things. Not everything in life will come easy to you, sometimes you have to work a little harder to achieve what you want. But if you work a little harder, then the outcome will be great. The outcome will show how hard you worked to achieve what you want. 

Pediatrician

Duties and Responsibilities: Pediatrics is a branch of medicine that deals with medical care of infants, children and adolescents. These doctors usually take care of children up to the age of 21. A pediatrician who takes care of the physical, behavioral and mental health of children.

Education: Four year undergraduate degree, four years of medical school and 4 years of hands-on training.              

Reflection: Would you like to be one? Why? Why not?

I would like to be a pediatrician because it's one of the few careers I'm really interested in. I think it would be great if i was able to take care of the medical health of children. Children are so small and fun that being their doctor would be so much fun. I would like to know the way they behave or why children get sick. Being a pediatrician is one of the main things i would like to be for the main reason that i would really like to work with children and make them healthier.

Reflection: What this quote is trying to say is that when you do the right thing you'll have freedom and independence. If you don't make the correct decisions there will be consequences and you can end up in a bad place. It is better to make the right decisions because then you'll be guaranteed that you'll have freedom.

- Banking Manager: everyone needs money, so they'll need to go to a bank and being the bank's manager, it shows how much you have grown since you started. You can't be a manager just like that, you need experience.

- Chef: I always wanted to be a chef. The career is good because you'll probably be known by cooking good food.

I wouldn't like to have a career in another country because that means that i have to be away from my family for a long time. It would be great if i could go to another country to learn a career but not to stay over there for a long time. 

Video Reflection

The video was about some football players in Olivet Middle School in Olivet, Michigan who wanted to make people happy and make them smile. The video consisted of 3 boys: Keith, Justice and Parker. Keith had a disability but the boys accepted him as who he is. Keith wanted to play football and the football team let that happened. The other two boys in particular wanted Keith to be happy, and maybe scoring a touchdown will make him happy since he has never scored a touchdown. So they planned something out for the next football game without the coaches knowing. The football players would get so close to scoring but they never did because they wanted Keith to do it. After a while Keith was in the middle of a rush and all the football players protected him and that helped him score a touchdown. Keith was very happy. The football players accepted him and made him feel like he belonged. This video shows that there's still a lot of people with big hearts who want to help others. This video was truly an inspiration to a lot of people.

What this quote is trying to say is that a person is on truly great when they are good all around. When a person who makes good decisions, and always choose the right then those are the ones who are truly good. For example if a kid is really good at a sport, but makes bad decisions on the weekend, then he really isn't truly great. In order to be truly great, you have to be truly good to yourself, not just one thing. If you're only making good choices sometimes then that doesn't count as being a truly great person, because you can't be truly great sometimes. You have to be truly great all the time showing that you are a truly good person who always think before they act.
