This quote means that when you do something good you feel good about yourself. When you make right decisions and when you're friendly to other people, that's the best recreation you can do. If you choose the right, it is guaranteed that you will feel better about yourself because you just did something good. I agree with this quote because it's true, when i do something that I know was good and that nobody asked me to do it, I feel good inside because I know I did something right. 

Police Officer

Police Officer 

Duties and Responsibilities: Police officers are in charge of the apprehension of criminals and the detection of crimes. Also they work for the protection of the public and keep it in maintenance. Police officers are able to arrest a person and keep them as long as they want. Police are suppose to help keep peace, law enforcement, protection of the people and property, and also to help investigate crimes. 

Salary: $60,000

Education: High school diploma and at least two years of college. Have an Associates Degree and go to a police Academy for training. 

                                         

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? 

I think I would like to be one because i want to help keep  peace in the world. I know that if i become a police officer i would be helping a lot of people and i like helping people. I would be able to catch criminals and stop them from committing any other crimes and i can also save people from any danger. Being a police officer has always been a career i would like to be.

I agree with this quote because it is true. When something is right but everyone is against it, it doesn't make it wrong. It is still right because a lot of people are against the right things because they prefer doing the wrong things. People find the wrong things right just because everyone is doing it, but no it is still wrong. If things are wrong then they remain wrong, they don't just change because everyone else is for it. For example kids may not find doing drugs wrong because everyone else is doing it, but it is still wrong. 

Yoga Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: Yoga Therapy consists of mindful breathing, conscious relaxation, focused body awareness, and movements that can help release stress. Each therapy is personalized to fit what the client needs. After a few therapies, it will begin improving a person's health, releasing stress and strengthening the body-mind connection. 

Salary: $36,900

Education: Completing a specialized training or certificate program is required. 

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I don't think i would like to be a yoga therapist because that's not really what I'm interested in. I don't want to join a career that i wouldn't like doing. I'm more into being inside hospitals helping out people with injuries or really big diseases. A yoga therapist sounds like a good career but it'll probably be something i would rather do in the side, something besides my career.

I think Peter's quote is true because you shouldn't sacrifice something that is really important to you for something that isn't worth it. You might want something now but in the future it probably won't even benefit you. If you sacrifice what you really want versus what you want now, it's not going to be worth it because what's more important is what you want to accomplish the most. If you write down what you really want, you're going to be determine to achieve it and if you see if often it's going to motivate you to keep on trying to achieve that goal.

Duties and responsibilities: Chromotherapy is sometimes called color therapy and it's an alternative medicine method. Chromotherapy is when you use colors of electromagnetic radiation to cure diseases. It has successfully been used over the years and it has cured some diseases.

Salary: You would usually be self-employed.  

Education: You need a diploma in The Association of Natural Medicine. 

                            

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not? 
I honestly don't think I would like to be one because it's more like something you would do aside from another career. Maybe I would do this in my free time. I much rather work in the hospital helping people out that way. This seems like a good job but I wouldn't like to be one.

This quote is true because it's better to be known for good things and have a good name then to have great things. It's way better when you do good things in your life and you get recognize for it and get a good name then to just get material things. Great riches is being known with a good name because you're doing good things.

I agree with this quote because it's very true. You get a good name by doing something good. Coach K was a good coach and he won many games and that's why he has a good name. He never did anything wrong that would make his name look bad. You get a good name by doing the right things, by making the right decisions. If you do bad things then you're not going to have a good name because you're making yourself look bad by doing things that are not right. You have to earn a good name and you earn it by doing correct things. 

Columbus Day

Christopher Columbus 

Christopher Columbus was born in the Republic of Genoa. He was born in 1451. Christopher went to sea as a teenager participating in trading voyages. He was a Genoese explorer, navigator, and colonizer. Columbus completed 4 voyages across the Atlantic Ocean. His first voyage to the "New World" was in 1492. He was determined to find a direct water route from Europe to Asia, but he never did. Instead he stumbled into the Americas. Columbus discovered the "New World" of the Americas. Some states till this day celebrate Columbus Day because it was an important discovery. 

                                        

Reflection: 

I think this was an important day in history because he discovered the "New World". He was determine to find something else but instead he found the Americas. I think this is an important day to celebrate but we don't celebrate it anymore. I think Columbus did good in going to voyages because he discovered something new in the world that wasn't expected to be discovered.

This quote is true because when you choose the right you are making right decisions which makes you a great human. Whenever a person does something good, and makes great decisions then that human is making himself look good. Someone that chooses the wrong makes himself look bad because they're not doing the right thing.

Duties and Responsibilities: A lawyer is a person who is practicing law. Working as a lawyer involves knowledge and legal theories to solve specific individualized problems. Lawyers have to be knowledgeable about the constitutions and politics involving their client's case.

Education: 7 years of full-time study after high school, 4 years of undergraduate study followed by 3 years of law school and complete a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I think i would like to be one because I've been wanting to be a lawyer ever since middle school. I think studying to become a lawyer has been one of my biggest goals. I've always wanted to become either a doctor or a lawyer. A lawyer makes a lot of money and take a lot of years to become one but i think all those years will be worth it.
