Health Educator
Duties and Responsibilities: Health Educators teach people about behaviors that will make you healthy or that will promote wellness. They develop strategies that will improve the health of individuals and communities.
Salary: $41,830
Education: Bachelor's Degree, many employers require the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential.
Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
I honestly don't think I would like to be one because I would rather be in the hospital helping a patient not teaching others about it. I would rather be the one treating the patients and seeing what else we can do to help them. Don't get me wrong, this sounds like a great career, just not for me. This is not what I see myself doing in the future, I see myself more hands in for the patient.
