I believe this quote is true because what you know and what you are is education. When you are intelligent that helps with education because sometimes intelligence helps you make a correct decision. Your character is true education because it can be based as how you are as a person and the correct decisions you decide to make. For example the intelligence makes you think the right way which will eventually help you build up a great character.
