Nursing Home Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities: The nursing home administrator must make sure of the health, safety, security and the rights of the nursing facility. The nursing home administrator is basically the leader in the organization.

Salary: $65,000-$90,000

Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, master's in long-term care administration, and health services administration.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?
Becoming a Nursing Home administrator doesn't sound like a bad idea at all. Maybe this could be one of my choices. The fact that it's being the leader of the organization, makes me want to do it because it shows that I worked really hard to become the administrator. The salary isn't bad at all either. This obviously won't be my first choice but it will be one of them. This job/career would help a lot of people especially the elders and I would't mind helping them.
