Student Success Statement President John F. Kennedy

Student Success Statement

Physical Fitness
"Physical Fitness is not the only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. The relationship between the soundness of the body and the activities of the mind is subtle and complex. Much is not yet understood. But we do know what the Greeks knew: that intelligence and skill can only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is healthy and strong."

President John F. Kennedy

What this quote means is that not only the physical fitness makes you a healthy person. When you do the right things you're building yourself up to be a healthy person because you are doing things that are right and that will make you feel good. So when you do the correct things you are making your body healthy because that makes you feel good about yourself. When you do the right things you are intelligent and it takes an intelligent person to do the right things.
